Prof. Mauro Ferrari is a world renowned scientist in nanotechnology, and also a man of great values and great availability.
People often think that a scientist has time only for his inventions, instead Mauro Ferrari has proven that it is possible to reconcile science, the highest expression of intelligence, with the family, the greatest human value.
The conference was extremely interesting, it's nice to be able to compare with great minds from around the world.
I was one of the four people who won the prize 'Salvatore Venuta' as an incentive for research. Unfortunately Prof. Salvatore Venuta disappeared some years ago but in honour of his presence was the daughter Fabrizia Venuta, a very simple and sweet person.
The organization of the conference was done by the wife of Prof. Ferrari, Paola Ferrari, who was always available for every need. She organized our accommodation and has given us an excellent breakfast at her residence.
Special thanks must also go to local organizers who have supported the work of Paola, like Ambrogioe, Katyusha, Giovanni, the mayor has allowed the realization of the evening in the square and all the inhabitants of Gagliato who did not miss the warm welcome .
